Angel Food
Ok, Kurt's parents church has a program they are in charge of called "Angle Food Ministries". It's a church based food program, not government. So it doesn't matter what your income is, it's just a good deal on food that's open to the public.
You can get a basic food package that feeds one person for a month, two for 2 weeks or a family of four for a week. That's $30. And you can get add-on packages too from $18-$20 bucks. They take cash,foodstamps or money orders, NO personal checks or credit cards yet. The basic package includes meats, fruits,veggies, baked goods,packaged foods and dessert and the menu changes every month.
You order by the middle of the month and get it the end of the month typically.
